Dr. Demetris Allen Green, MD

My loved one went to see this guy and my loved one had just been released from hospital 3 weeks prior to this, ON LIFE SAVING MEDICATION. This guy threw the pill bottles in the garbage can, stating "You don't need that, because you look great!" ???? 2+ weeks later, he admitted, "Oh yeah, you need to take that medication." ???? Baylor graduate??? Hmm.... Ok.

Dr Green himself is attentive and helpful but his staff appears to be incompetent. They take payment up front which is shady. This office requires you to return every 3 months to obtain a new prescription regardless of how long you've been going to Dr Green or how long you've been on that medicine. Most recently, Dr Green's office has refused to order additional refills on my preventative medication that I have taken for 7+ years under his watch because his office thinks that coming into the doctors office for a refill is important and worth the risk during a city wide "stay in place".

Been going to him for 5 years. No med changes but insists on seeing me every 3 months. Get there only to have to wait an hour to be seen. After an hour: “how are you? Anything new? See you in 3 months. “ Phlebotomists are AWFUL. Cannot stock correctly, and misspell my name every time. Heaven forbid you let them know how to do a stick correctly, even if you teach the class...order of draw? Forget about it. Vitals? Be sure to watch, they have so many people doing rotations that just don’t know what they’re doing!! Requested a refill on my meds today and was told: nope, it’s been 3 months, have to come in for an appointment. I refused, and stated that I’ll be going to another doctor. Response: oh well, suit yourself. Good to know they’re doing so well that they can afford to lose patients. Good riddance to a bad experience and waste of time

My experience with Dr. Green has been great. I like the fact that he always ask if (you) the patient have any questions. Very attentive and his follow up is great. Office staff is always helpful and friendly. Wait time is no longer than 10 minutes after appointment time-Very satisfied with my choice of Doctor.

I'm a new patient of Dr. Green's and my experience has been great. The office was not luxurious, but it was clean. Dr. Green was very timely, I did not wait long at all for the appointment. His office was able to schedule my appointment within days. The staff could be a bit more courteous however, I did not feel that they were necessarily "rude". Dr. Green showed professionalism and concern; he asked several times if I had questions or concerns. I felt like he had my best interest. Since my appointment, I've been able to call with questions and speak directly with him. So far, I have been well pleased with his services. I'll be sure to update the review if necessary.

The visit was horrible and so was the doctor and staff. He treats substance disorders yet fails to disclose he has a 10 year history and huge list of medical board compalints for cocaine , alcoholism and psychiatric admission history. Its a long list of a very checkered history on the tmb website under his profile.

I love this doctor. Absolutely best PCP I have ever had. The wait times are never more than 10 mins for me personally and I honestly used to go to a doctor before whose wait time was over 1 and 1/2 hrs past appt time so ten mins or less is astonishing. Dr. Green is always kind and courteous and always, ALWAYS treats me with respect and gives me his undivided attention. Absolutely wonderful doctor!

Dr. Green is an exceptional physician. He is not only well informed but he takes time with his patients. He promptly returns calls. He's all that my family could ask for!

Dr. Green is a great general physician. He takes his time explaining all information that is pertinent to your condition. He is always a phone call away and never to busy to talk. The staff is very friendly and professional. The office is always clean, never stuffy or chaotic.

Dr Office was not in great shape. I sat on a couch in the waiting area and hit the support boards. No cushion left. Office was dirty, staff was unfriendly. Dr seemed more interested in setting a follow up appointment and seemed put out when I asked for a dr's note for work. He would only give a note for 1 day when I missed 3 at work. Stating I was not in his care the 2 days prior to my visit. I have never experience such unprofessionalism in a doctors office. I called again today because I am having trouble now with my employer who has asked that his note include all 3 days. Dr Green's receptionist informed me that she was unable to write the note because Dr Green is upset that I missed my 2 week follow up appointment. An appointment I never made.... BEWARE!!!! I would give no starts but this review will not allow!!
