When the doctor came in she mentioned I was still a little early. She said to schedule in two weeks from that appointment date to determine if there would be a heartbeat or if it would be a miscarriage. I did not appreciate her telling me that it could be a miscarriage. That has caused a lot of anxiety since that appointment.

Dr. Costa is great.

This lady does not need to be a doctor. Lacking compassion and empathy. After my very first visit with her where I told her I wasn't interested in fertility her whole demeanor changed right then, i told her my periods were excruciating, did not acknowledge it. I told her the fertility specialist said i didn't ovulate she said "i find that hard to believe" I asked about being tested for PCOS she dismissed it, save your time and look elsewhere wouldn't recommend her to my dog.

The doctor didn't address any of my concerns. She had her routine and that is all she was there to do. I asked for bloodwork that wasn't ordered. I talked about concerns with hormones - she didn't address it. I talked about new diagnoses (ulcerative colitis) and asked about possible risks that could come along whtjh that - she didn't say one word about it. She did not spend any time going over my concerns. She did the exam and talked about me needing to schedule a mammogram because of my age.

I usually have such great feedback for Dr. Costa but this time was not the case. I was really discouraged after this appointment. I was really looking forward to telling her about my weight loss progress and asking her questions about birth control options so that I can have better options moving forward with this journey. However, she was very rushed during the appointment. She didn't really seem interested in anything I had to say about why I was stopping the birth control and kept interrupting me and it made me very discouraged about being open with her. She ran through the medicine options very quickly that I didn't really process them. I was clearly upset and she didn't really address that with me. I brought up that I was bothered that she kept interrupting me so she apologized and tried to redeem herself by asking me what I was going to say, but it just didn't seem genuine. It just felt like she was going through the motions of the appointment and like she didn't really care… about my situation. Last year she was so fantastic during the appointment and took It slow by talking through the process and asking me questions about my life and everything but this year I just was really discouraged and did not have a good experience at all.
