Dr. Dena Solomon, PhD

Dr Solomon was easy to talk to but I didn’t like that she kept encouraging me to see a psychiatrist for medication after only one visit. I am not against being on meds but I feel like it is a last course measure after going to therapy. My current therapist says I’m doing well despite not being on medication and that it is better for me not to be on them. The biggest problem I have with add Solomon is that she took me in as a patient for only one visit. She should have never let me see her If she could not fit me in her regular schedule. She basically took my cash ($120), promised she would help me get it reimbursed from my insurance company (she never did) and then never got back to me for any future openings. It is not right to act like you’re listening and caring when you end up abandoning someone so vulnerable in the end.
