Dr Denise Gumbinger Ingram

Dr. Ingram has been my primary care physician for 20 years. I am 51 years old and have had multiple health issues through the years. Undoubtedly, she is the most compassionate, caring and professionally proficient physician I have ever known. Not only is she attentive to my health concerns and symptoms, Dr. Ingram is committed to thoroughly explaining all diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care with me. She never rushes through my visits and she carefully evaluates all necessary information. She is excellent in referring me to practitioners outside of her scope of practice if needed and schedules all necessary lab tests and scans in a time sensitive fashion. She is simply irreplaceable when it comes to the confidence I need in a primary care physician and my desire for optimal health. It is my experience that Dr. Ingram is the model for excellence in all areas required in Family Medicine and I sincerely recommend her.

I have been a longtime patient with Dr. Ingram. She is very smart and works hard to diagnose and treat her patients. I am hoping she will send out a letter with her new address and she stays in the Asheville area as she is no longer with Adventist Health.

Dr. Ingram has been an excellent physician to us; my husband & me, and our youngest son, wife & their 2 children. we are really upset about her having to leave and with No Notification to anyone I worked for a Dr. for 22 years. This would have never happened.

If you want a Dr. that will make you wait 30 minutes in a patient room while she is out in the hall chatting with her staff, this is the Dr. for you. Be prepared to schedule 2 hours of your time for a short 20 minute visit. When you need her the most, she will let you down. Uncaring, unfeeling, awful experience.

Rare brilliant doctor. Dr. Ingram is extremely popular and sought after because she is a superb physician. She's incredibly intelligent, makes fast and accurate diagnoses, spot on treatment and knows when and to whom to send a patient for specialty medicine. She's very warm, caring, funny, and a delight. Unusual mix of brilliance and genuine caring bedside manner. Top notch and my family and I are most grateful to have her as our physician.

My husband and I have been to dozens of "top notch" physicians throughout the US and especially the Washington DC area, including Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, etc. Dr. Ingram is by far the most all around brilliant physician we have ever encountered. Absolutely stunning mind but also a very rare bedside manner that is charming, warm, and delightful. Dr. Denise Ingram IS the very finest physician out there.

I was a patient of Dr Ingram, she is caring but has to many patients for you to even get in if you are really sick. Today I have a bug and needed fluids they just turned me away and gave me advice on what to eat. Im vomiting how am I going to eat? Its been 3 days since I've had something to eat. She chooses who she wants to see and is always 'booked' not to mention her office staff is insensitive and miserable they act like they were picked up off the street. Back last year I referred my family to her and they all had some sort of problem either with billing for charges unknown, lost charts, no follow up appointment and wrong diagnoses. No blood work, no cbgs only vitals. Terrible, don't waste your time you get better care at a urgent care. This is a review from an RN, BSN.
