Dr. Denise Antoinette Lawrence, MD

Amazing doctor. She's patient, understanding, and great at what she does.

The only reason you wait for your appointment is because Dr. Lawrence NEVER rushes you out. If you have 50 questions for her she will answer all 50 questions. I can absolutely understand this and know that if I was ever in an emergency situation, like I was when I had a massive heart attack, Dr. Lawrence would spend as much time as needed to make sure I was taken to the ER then to Ellis main hospital.

I started seeing Dr. Lawrence in 1988, when she was new. I loved her caring, professional, friendly and gentle ways. She never tries to scare you with technilogical terms and is willing to hear what you might think is wrong with you. She does NOT belittle you for having a say in your treatment, especially since I am a diabetic. If I read something about a new medication, she will let me try it if she thinks it is safe. After blood tests she called me at home just to tell me everything was fine. If I have to wait beyond my appointment time, I know that it is because she NEVER hurries anyone out of her office. I love her. Fantastic person. Even better Doctor!

Dr. Lawrence is a great doctor I have no complaints whatsoever. Her office staff however is the most unprofessional unhelpful lot.

Dr. Lawrence always listens to you. She has a great bedside manner. Warm, Friendly, Intelligent. She has taken care of my children (ages 4 & 17) and myself for 5 years. She listens when no one else will. Never assumes she knows everything and is willing to perform tests or send you to specialist to confirm her diagnosis( which has always been right so far!). Respects your privacy and keeps everything confidential. Best Dr I've ever had.
