Dr. Denise Ann Dutchak-Parmenter, MD

After feeling like our concerns and observations of our child were being completely ignored by the Dr. we talked to the therapist about our concerns and the therapist (Tamara) explained that the appointments with the Dr. are timed and she needs to keep on schedule even if it means not listening to all of our concerns. So, Dr. Dutchak is another typical "You're just a number and a paycheck to me" type doctor. Very sad when she is supposed to be helping children.

Someone wrote a review saying she just wants to hand you a script! I saw her a few times, years ago. She took me off ALL meds, and had me take vitamins and eat better/exercise, and seek counseling. No other doctor would listen to my complaints about meds, I had some outrageous diagnoses. She gave me a simple diagnosis. A simple treatment was prescribed, she listened thoroughly. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Parmenter. She saved my life. She stopped me from continuing to be an adolescent guinea pig. I got better with her treatment than I did with the terrible drugs that the state doctors were giving me. I seriously probably would have gotten lost in one of the System's cracks if it wasn't for her.

Spent the time to talk about issues and offered different options for treatment, discussing pros and cons.

This doctor is more interested in prescribing medications than finding and fixing the underlying problems.
