Dr. Denise Swanson Reeves, MD

Please NEVER go to her. This women judged me, humiliated me and made me feel extremely violated. I started to see her for my pregnancy. I had gained 5 pounds over 3 weeks and she stated that I needed to get in contact with weight watchers. She told me the amount of calories I'm supposed to be intaking is equal to a single piece of bread with very little peanut butter on it. She continued to do a pap smear with no consent, warning or information about what she was doing and on top of the she was EXTREMELY forceful. Please, do not see her. She has harmed so many people mentally and physically.

Do not ever under any circumstance let this quack near you or your family with any sharp object.

I've been seeing Dr. Reeves for years and she is a fine woman. She's a knowledgeable, competent, no B.S. kind of doctor and I have no complaints. Maybe her office staff isn't the best but she is!

I am changing doctors after 6 years. Office staff does not follow up on making appointments. Twice I asked for a referral and both times there was no followup. Billing has been a nightmare and I am currently trying to correct an office mistake over 8 months. My insurance company agent tried to bridge the office staff, on three occasions, but they would never come to the phone. Dr Reeves needs major restructuring of her office. She also needs to focus on patients instead of chatting about is happening in her personal life.

I am changing doctors. The office wait last time without a delivery or other emergency surgery was 40 minutes; this delay has been consistent through the past 5 years. Office staff is rude. Billing has had errors and staff do not follow up. On many occasions I had to hunt down the snafu on my own and train the staff on corrections.Twice a referral was needed and the staff never secured the appointment even after I asked for followup. As far as Reeves's expertise, I am a routine annual with no special requirements. Her bedside manner as reported is off-hand, but professional. The buck stops at the boss's desk, however, and clearly her management and oversight of the office is severely lacking. It's too bad she is the only female physician in town, but I'd rather use a male than deal with this office again.

Dr. Reeves delivered the last 2 of my 4 children. She is a very good doctor. May not have the world's best bed side manner, but is an easy trade off for the quality of doctor she is. She is calm and balanced and doesn't respond to the drama that comes with being a emotional, pregnant woman. We had complications with our 3rd pregnancy and she was knowledgeable and supportive. When I found out at the ultrasound and showed up at the office in tears, she came out and took the time to calm me down and answer my questions. If you want to be dealt with honestly and in a straight forward manner you will like her. She will grow on you. I am happy she was my doctor.

We are very happy.She had helped us with two of our children and she is simply excellent

This Dr. has terrible bedside manner and rushes through exams. She also has no concern for your problems you are experiencing. She does terrible with follow up and her front office staff are rude also. She also seems to have rushed in her surgeries. Have to go to a new specialist now to correct her work. DO NOT GO TO HER...also research her past surgical priviliges with Ball Memorial...........

If you have a problem, should would probably address it, but I think she rushes and is not consistent each year with exams. One time she didn't to a breast exam and one time she didn't do a pelvic - only the pap. She also talk about herself quite a bit and can be distracted.

This doctor shouldn't be a doctor!
