Dr. Dennis Anthony Auth, DO

another doctor apart of hospitalist during my stay that leaves patients with well documented complex health issues Including ehlers danlos to writhe and rot in pain. He also gave me instructions to take extra of my meds that are prescribed by a different doctor which is a controlled substance. When I told my prescribing doctor that this doctor told me I could use the medication other than prescribed he was not happy. I will be filing a complaint. Also the unit director kindly requested if he could give something prior to my hour drive home and he denied it. Never even came to say anything to my himself. He also tried telling me that its just as hard on the physicians as it is for the patient that isnt being managed properly. How can you compare a working doctor that makes their own choices to a patient suffering in bed that no one will treat or pay attention to.

My baby girl has seen the doctor a few times already. He's answered all of my paranoid mommy questions without any hesitation. I called the "on call doctor once with an after hours concern and she helped me and responded back t. Dr. Auth. I find him to be laid back and comforting. He has an "old school" approach to parenting but it's well seasoned with medical evidence to back it up. So far so good.

Dr Auth is not a good listener. He also seemed to be more interested in scheduling as many appointments as he possibly could to generate more revenue for Pine Grove. If you want a doctor to milk you dry of money and look down on you, then by all means go to Dr Auth.
