Dr. Dennis Ray Caffery, MD

Even though Dr. Caffrey was aware of my husbands mental health issues, and his addiction to drugs and alcohol, he still continued to over prescribe addictive drugs to him. It made my life a total nightmare for 10+ years and also put my kids lives in danger when spending time with him. It finally led to him to overdosing, being on dialysis and then finally him taking his own life.

Getting an appointment is not an easy process now that they have to be made through OSF call center. Much more efficient when calls went straight to the office.

My whole family goes to Dr. Caffery and we love him. He has been our physician for about 7 years. He is very caring and takes his time. He is also very thorough and diagnosed me with a condition that had alluded other doctors for almost 10 years. I highly recommend him!

very accomodating with appointments but will give you no meds over the phone - you must come in. Very nice staff. The doctor is caring and thorough but not much emotion there, so if you are looking for the warm fuzzy type or the sparkling conversationalist he is not it. He is working on diagnosing my current problem and has been great for all other past problems. I would recommend him to anyone at the moment and will continue to go there unless he just cant figure out what the problem is.
