Dr. Dennis A Cortes, MD

Dr. Cortes is great. Problem is I rarely get to see him, I get another doctor. I've called, so many times, they seldom answer the phone. Then you have to give your explanation of symptoms to a receptionist. And you get a prescription sent to pharmacy. In other words you never get a call back from doctor to explain what you feel.

Their customer service is terrible. They don’t ever answer the phone and close for weeks at a time. I’m supposed to pick up a monthly Rx. That they refuse to ever send electronically and it’s always written wrong. The most recent episode occurred this week where they wrote the script wrong and blamed the Patient. I do not recommend this MD to anyone.

He is very caring and knowledgeable. Fabulous physician!

Dr. Dennis Cortes offers a weight management program where I was freely prescribed a combination of medications including, phentermine- to suppress hunger, thyroid pills- to boost metabolism (despite the fact I don't suffer from any thyroid issues and I informed them of this) and HCG through the form of injections. The sale of HCG is done ONLY as a cash transaction and can be picked up as many times as the patient would like. There is no control over quantity and substance abuse. There is also no control over the sale of expired HCG which has been sold to me already 3 times. The staff at his office DOES NOT look at the expiration date and if the patient isn't aware of it, they will walk away and inject themselves with expired HCG. I find this medical practice to be unethical, unprofessional and there is no real concern over a patients health.

I have been going to Doctor Cortes for sometime now, he doesn't have time for his patients like before. He rushes though his patients so fast you don't have time to really talk to him. His new assistants aren't as friendly as his old assistants.

I have been a patient to Dr Cortes for 1 year 3 months. My dad goes to him and my mom before she passed .I heard so much great things. What a great professional md he is. Well I'm so blessed. He has helped me with my health and my weight plan ..He is a well educated Dr and take the time to talk to you about your health and what you need to be healthy ..staff all very nice. Clean place. And I totally recommend him ..thank you Dr cortes

I was a patient for years. I am a diabetic & use testerone.After losing my job couldn't get an affordable alternative don't even know if office passed info to dr, had to go w/o which causes its own problems ,was even denied my metformin script, diabetic med , while I was uninsured by OFFICE MANAGER got script after asking to hear from dr, never did , but got script from hiss assistant don't even believe dr knew ..Don't put your health in the hands of the office manager!! Sorry I am gone.last one

very compassionate and concern about your well being staff is super makes you feel like you want to be there also your not there all day they get you in and out

Overall experinece excellent a doctors with the beside manors everyone would like to be treated like.

I am completely disgusted at the level of service I received just trying to confirm my appointment. The staff is rude and extremely unprofessional. I was hung up time and time again! They lied saying the office was closed when it wasn't. Will never come here or refer ANYONE! STAY AWAY!
