He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee, and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. His fellowship was conducted in Infectious Diseases at the University of Alabama. Also, he is a Certified Wound Specialist with the American Academy of Wound Management.

Dr. Melton is the only doctor I will see. I've been seeing him for 10 years now and consider myself lucky, as he no longer takes new patients. Stellar reputation- and well deserved.

Dr. Melton has been my physician since 1994. His bedside manner, healthcare knowledge, and thoroughness is second to none. I have complete confidence in him managing my healthcare needs.

Dr. Melton is an incredible physician - I highly recommend him -- if you're looking for the best, then look no further! Dr. Melton is loved and respected by everyone that knows him...even some that don't know him but know "of" him and his upstanding reputation as one of the best physicians in the city of Atlanta.

Each visit I have with Dr. Melton is always a positive one. Everyone on his is staff are friendly and professional. In my opinion Dr. Melton is one of the best doctors in his field.
