He always nails it diagnostically. Never an alarmist, he calms you down if you're getting paranoid from reading too much on the internet. Refers to specialists when appropriate, but mostly, he does not need to. Highly recommend this doctor.

I was Dr. O'Brien's 4th chart when he started his independednt practice and I was a bit disturbed by one dindividual's review of him a a poort dignostian. Nothing could be father from the truth. He successfully moved my wife off of heart mediciatin she was misdiagnosed for by a previus doctor. Whent ther other individula is just a difficult person, and not a people person, I do not know. I have alsways found the staff to be consummate professionsla dn very personable. Finally, you have to be your own proponent -- basically the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If something does not seem to be improving and Dr. O'Brien thinks you may need a specialist, he is the first one to recommed someone. His office aways get a call back to you with lab results along whether I need followup. Upn request, they will also provide you a print out. So I definitely recommed him highly, as I would his colleague, Dr. Thoimpson, his nurse practicioners and medial technical staff.

Dr. O'Brien is a good diagnostician and has a great staff. He is conservative when it comes to prescribing drugs. He was an Engineer before becoming a doctor. He has a great dry sense of humor. He is an active runner and encourages his patients to stay physically active. He's a great guy and I highly recommed him.
