Dr. Dennis Joseph Spinazze, MD

Dennis J. Spinazze, D.D.S. Meet Dr. Spinazze Dr. Dennis Spinazze joined the Associates for Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery in 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency at Hines VA Hopital, located in Maywood, Ill.  He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training at the Detroit-Macomb Hospitals Association and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 1982.  He also was a clinical assistant professor at Northwestern University Dental School from 1984-86. Dr. Spinazze holds a strong commitment to education. He has served as a Basic Life Support instructor in the greater Chicagoland area. On the local and state levels Dr. Spinazze is a past President of the Chicago Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and served for 10 years on the anesthesia committee for the Illinois State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently on staff at St. …Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, and Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Spinazze became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1985. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life support. Dr. Spinazze’s clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery and the extraction of wisdom teeth, general anesthesia and IV sedation, implant dentistry and associated bone grafting procedures, correction of facial deformities (orthognathic surgery), oral pathology, and dental and facial trauma. He is married with three children.
