Dr Farrimond is the best doctor and I adore him. He takes excellent care of me!!!

Besr Dr. I have found he doesn't try to give a ton of drugs but is willing to try to find the proper combo of meds. He cares about side effects and doesn't expect you to be a zombie.

I was a patient of Dr. Farrimond in 2009-2011. I would come to my scheduled appt every 3 months and told him I felt the meds I was prescribed were NOT working, I told him I felt FLAT LINED and explained to him I felt empty. I couldn't laugh at something humorous or cry at something sad ie FLAT LINED emotionally. He would be writing in my chart, barely look at me or seem truly interested in my thoughts about how I was feeling. All he did was knod his head, then say OK isn't that better than feeling depressed, then hand me my written Rx's THE SAME ONES I TOLD HIM WERE NOT WORKING and say I'[[ see you back in 3 Months. I was quite frustrated. Perhaps it was his lack of experience that he didn't want to change my Rx from what my previous dr had given me. I knew I needed my Rx to be modified in some way, but my wishes fell on "deaf ears". After years on meds I knew as a patient how my own body and mind reacts to Rx's and the current Rx was not helping and neither was this doctor. And… yes he did make me feel depressed after my appt with him like I was less than worthy of his time.

Although I'm sure he is a "nice guy" that doesn't cut it as a doctor. And even then, he wasn't all too nice. Within two minutes of being in his office, it was obvious he was trying to diagnose me with bipolar, because he stated that I "talk too fast, do I know that's a problem". Are you kidding me? So what. None of my friends, family, or co-workers seem to mind, but he did. THEN, he asks me to decide what meds I think I need. I'm like, just refill the meds I have now. He was weird about it in general, and though I have prescription that must be refilled EVERY month by a doctors visit, he scheduled me for two months from now. I am very disappointed in my experience with Harmony Health Care, and with this doctor. I'm going to try, AGAIN, to get my HMO to refer me to someone else. The last two people were both from Harmony and they were not good very helpful to me, in general.
