Dr. Derald Lloyd Seid, DO

Dr Derald L. Seid was referred to me by a M.D who was himself a patient of Dr Seid. I had many Doctors treat me in my 91 years here on earth. I have a brother who is a doctor and three nieces. I have been a patient of Dr Seid for over 12 years and find that he knows more about the human body than any other doctor I have been to. Once he accepts you as a patient he is 100 % with you. It is true that there are times that one may wait a little longer in the waiting room, but that is because he is so thorough in his examinations and expecially in his follow ups. The wait is worth it. I consider him one of the BEST in his profession. He is truly a great family doctor. I wish him many more years in practice. Jim Barbic

Dr. Seid has seen this patient for a number of years. His low rating is due to his inconsistency of keeping scheduled appointments especially knowing how far this patient travels to see him. Dr. Seid was this patient's primary care physician and prior to an upcoming surgical procedure, he would not see this patient for a standard/routine pre-op appointment and sent this patient elsewhere. He is not amiable and not willing to explain important information to concerned family members (with the patient present). However, to be fair, when he IS doing well, he will spend time with the patient and explain things patiently to them (rare and far between in the most recent years). Unfortunately, this low rating is due to his inability to serve patients when they TRULY need them and ability to maintain standard professionalism.
