My sister, pregnant with twins, saw Dr. Jurus with severe back pain and fluid leakage indicative of preterm labor. Dr. Jurus, without checking the safety and wellness of her and her children, declared her well and sent her home. When my sister returned in excruciating pain, she was left alone in the triage room for hours. It was only after a nurse recommended Dr. Jurus check her cervix that he discovered she was in labor. By then, it was too late, and my sister suffered the loss of one twin. Dr. Jurus is negligent, irresponsible, and showed no trust or care that women understand their bodies. If it were not for his fatal misjudgment to send her home, again without checking the wellness of her babies, my sister would have both of her sons right now.

Left me alone in a triage room for hours while I was in preterm labor with twins. A nurse suggested to him “why don’t you check her cervix again?” He sticks two fingers inside me and says “they’re coming,” and rushes me into delivery. No time for medication. No time for anything. Although I had been there earlier that day in pain and fear, (rightly so) he sent me home and refused to give me a doctor’s note for work the next day. Little did he know, or care, that he’d be delivering my twin sons, one dead because of him, and the other might not have a chance. My survived son is now home after 5 months in the NICU.

Dr. Juras takes time to evaluate your condition during exam. He explains the procedures necessary to allievate the pain . Directs you to any future appointments with him or his associates to get you back to normal.

Dr Jurus did my total hysterectomy with robotic arm and I had no pain 1 day after surgery. He is nice , smart, good listener and an excellent gynecologist/ surgeon . I had some unexpected surprises like a giant fibroid and strange ureter anatomy and did an amazing job I STRONGLY recommend Dr Jurus and by the way I am a Doctor as well so I know what I am talking about both as a patient and a fellow Doc. He is the best !! Dr KM

Dr Jurus can come off as kind and sincere; however, his lack of knowledge, inability to consider/understand anything that isn’t typical, and refusal to order additional testing put my life at risk. Please find another doctor that believes in current and best practices.
