Dr. Derek Duane Kaznoski, MD

Excellent gyn doc.

Called as i was having a problem. Thought it would take a week or more to get an appt. but as luck would have it they had a cancellation so i got a same day appt. The staff was very friendly. The Dr. was knowledgeable about the issue i was having and made me feel comfortable. He offered me a couple of options for the correction of the issue and was also aware of the cost of medicines and offered to do a different one if i could not get or afford the one he prescribed.

Dr. Kaznoski is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. Over the last 9 years I have been to over 40 doctors for a different issue and feel that I have a good basis for comparison. I highly recommend him to any person looking for a "female" doctor. His bedside manner is awesome and his support staff is hard to top.

Dr. Derek Kaznoski is an excellent physican, he is very caring and attentive. His staff is friendly and compasionate as well. His office is excellent about getting you in for a visting quickly if you are having problems. I would recommend him to anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Kaznoski. I had never had a gynecologist before, but my appointments with him were honestly very positive experiences that did not make me feel uncomfortable at all.Unlike other doctors I had seen previously (i.e. the experiences that prompted me to set up my appointment), he did not try to coerce me into submitting to examinations by withholding my regular birth control prescriptions. Instead, he sat down and talked with me about my research and his recommendations and allowed me to reach my own decision based on his advice. He is an excellent listener and communicator and does not in any way just waltz in and tell you what to do. He will respect your intelligence and your choices while also giving strong, evidence-based advice to point you in the right direction. (Ultimately I took his advice and was glad I did.)Dr. K was also a perfect fit for me because he has some expertise with urinary problems, which he was able to diagnose and explain to me on my second… appointment. (Related to the topic of practice areas, you may also need to know that Dr. K is strictly a gynecologist and does NOT practice obstetrics. Most websites do not clearly make this distinction.)In a nutshell, now that I have moved away from West Virginia, I don't know how I'll replace this doctor.
