Dr. Devangi Devang Desai, MD

I like her and she answers all of my questions. She also sends in for labwork promptly. The office called me to let me know the results within a couple days.

Both myself and my husband have had appointments with Dr. Desai. She greeted us enthusiastically and we felt welcomed. She listened to our concerns and answered all our questions. She handled our prescriptions refills. She spent time with each of us separately and together. We are very happy with her care at St. Mary's Medical Center and will continue with her.

Doesn't listen... doesn't follow thru. No communication when call. Left me totally hanging on necessary meds . As a transplant patient that can put me at risk of rejection. Absolutely worst experience with a primary provider. Thank heavens I had an oncologist who knew the risks and stepped up. Don't waste your time here. I've had a lot of medical experience unfortunately and she fails miserably

Very rude and bad with records and prescriptions. Went to school in India.

We are new patients and so far have found her to be quite patient and thorough.

Dr. Desai is an awesome doctor and the only thing that I hate is that my new insurance is not excepted by her office :( She is very knowledge and goes out of her way to help for special needs!

This dr. lies about messages left & also has her staff lie for her as well. She is very rude & doesn't treat me with respect.

This is a terrible doctor she was very rude once she saw my cross around my neck she treated me terrible she lied about messages that I left and tried to have me banned from all renown hospitals and clinics and I was born at washoe med before it ever became Renown she is very unprofessional and anyone who goes to her can expect to be disappointed she will lie about your condition!!!

I like Dr. Desai's personal manner. She listens to needs and pays attention to preferences when possible. The hospital system leaves very little time for it, but she always manages to spend enough time on my visits to address my issues and give the feeling that she is interested in my concerns. She is also willing to look at alternatives.Last year we were going out of the country and I needed anti-malaria medicine. I researched some, and when I went in for the prescription, the doctor gave me one that I recognized from my research. Afterward, the doctor called to say I should return and exchange the prescription, there was a better-recommended one for the part of the world I was going to.I was impressed that the doctor thought enough about it to take another look at the prescription and WHO recommendations. It was a better drug for my destination. It happened so fast, I was still in the parking lot and could just go back in to get it. I've also NEVER had another doctor personally call… after a visit with info or a recommendation or to try to improve outcomes.

Good doctor. Smart. Communicated clearly and spent a lot of time with me to make sure I was ok. Made an appointment for me with another facility within 15 minutes. I got good care there. Staff was professional and pleasant.
