Amazing Dr who took time to get to know my child even on thier first visit.

Our entire family loves Dr. Alappan. She is kind and knowledgeable and helps us to feel comfortable when our kids are sick. Everyone I know that goes to her loves her.

Dr. Alappan has been our pediatrician for the past 12 years. From the time that I was pregnant with my first child, she has always been open and honest about everything that I need to know. She is extremely knowledgeable and uses that knowledge to give the best care for my children. I have never had to second guess anything that she has told me and I am so grateful to have her as my children's doctor. I highly recommend her.

There really aren't enough nice things I can say about Dr. Alappan and her entire staff. They treat my entire family with respect and dignity. Sharis is always very professional and friendly when she greets us when we sign in at the front office or if she's scheduling an appointment over the phone. She does a great job of fitting us in on short notice or during a time of an emergency illness and we need to be seen. Chanquez is friendly, and works very well with my son when she calls us to the back and checks his vitals as well as when I speak to her over the phone. She's really sweet to us. Brittany is sweet, understanding, and friendly. Whenever I've talked to her over the phone or in person. Amy, is surely one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She's there to help diagnose and examine my son when he's sick or if he's just there for a well-check. She's ALWAYS nice, friendly, and if not for her patience. Let's just say I always joke with her and say "I know you guys probably… call me the crazy lady because I always call with questions". And of course, she disagrees with me and we laugh. Because they feel like I do. It's better to be safe then sorry when you're unsure about something regarding your child. As the old saying goes patience is truly a virtue and she has it for sure. Being a first time mother I can truly say Dr. Alappan welcomed us with open arms and she has been there whenever my son has gotten sick. Her staff even calls back a few days later and follows up to see how he's doing and if he's feeling any better. She and her staff have made being a mother a smooth transition. Goddess knows without their patience, understanding, and bedside manner I might be lost. And no matter how many questions I have. They never have an attitude or act like they don't have time for me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Alappan and her staff to EVERYONE who has a child of pediatric or adolescent age. THEY'RE THE BEST!!!!!!

Dr. Alappan visited the hospital upon my 1st child's birth, to introduce herself. Her manner is mild and she is knowledgeable. She's ALWAYS available, yet in her rare absence there has been a well-equipped caretaker in her place. She's good about referring to other good care if it's something she's not equipped for. My 1st child, 2001, was pretty mild and cooperative, but my 2nd child, 2008, was a screamer. :-) However, we never felt like she was shunned. Patience was certainly shown. Both children are usually with us at visits and we've never felt uninvited. We're thankful for our positive pediatric experience!...On our way today, may have an eye infection on our hands!... Upon reading some reviews, thought I'd share mine.

We have been going to Dr. Alappan for 8 years. She began taking care of my youngest child before she was even born by asking about her during my pregnancy. She is very caring and knowledgable. If a health situation requires specialized care she is willing to refer out to a specialist. Her office staff have been the same people since we have been going to her office. She never double or triple books patients. A previous reviewer said her office didn't have a well and sick side - that is not accurate. She has a glass enclosed sick waiting room separate from the well waiting room. Believe me, we been there many times with two children over 8 years. She has a small practice which allows her to get to know the families that come to her.
