Dr. Deya Yacoub Dafashy, MD

Dr. Dafashy is an incredible doctor. As a first time mom, he made me feel that my health was his priority. He was available to answer any questions I had throughout my pregnancy. When it came time to deliver my baby, he allowed plenty of time for a trial of labor. Unfortunately, my body did not cooperate with that plan. When I was ready, we changed our plan of care to a C-section because a healthy baby was our priority. My recover went really well and I was moving around soon after my C-section. My incision is healing wonderfully! I have to thank Dr. Dafashy, his personable staff, and midwife Judy Harris for making sure my pregnancy and delivery experience was as pleasant as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor!

So I was with another doctor that quit in this office at 35 weeks and Dafashy was the only one who took my insurance so we was forced on me. He only sent his midwife in for the first 3 weeks of our time together. When I was almost due I had to ask to meet the doctor that was going to be delivering because he would never come see me. When we finally did meet he was kinda rude he just said lay back let me check you not really a proper introduction. He also kept trying to force me to get an induction at 39 weeks when I told them many times I didn’t want to. When I said no he just said well we are going to make you get one at 41 weeks anyways. This really annoyed me. Also I paid for the $99 3D ultrasound and it didn’t work out so they told me they would refund the money. It took almost two months and me calling in asking to for the highest manager for them to finally refund me. Everytime I asked they would tell me the lady wasn’t there or they forgot about it. Also, they will never tell… you the size of your baby nor if it’s growing correctly they just check the heart beat and stop ultrasounds around 27 weeks. I ended up changing doctors. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Dr Dafashy puts his patients care first. My pregnancy was a very challenging one but with Dr Dafashy guidance and care I made it to full term and had a beautiful baby boy

Dr. Defashy has no bedside manners. He doesn't seem compassionate for his patients whatsoever. When I had my daughter he didn't show up to the hospital til the last minute. The nurses took better care of me then he ever did! I don't recommend him but I do recommend Dr. Tawadrous. They used to share offices and I got to see him sometimes and he was amazing!

I waited an hour and a half to see Dr. Dafashy. I don't have insurance, so I had to pay $185. He gave me barely five minutes of his time, then tried to rush out the door. I wanted to ask about something else, so he said: "Oh, you have other questions...", sounding disappointed. He answered them in a big hurry, and said we'll talk more on our next appointment. As if I'll ever go back there! Just because the man has a medical degree, it does not mean he can treat a person this way! Save your precious time and money and go see someone else!

WORST DOCTOR EVER! Rushes, doesn't care, and is inconsiderate. He was my prenatal doctor for my son and I spent more time in the waiting room then I ever did with him. Didn't even deliver my baby and then wanted me to pay out of pocket for the circumcision. And now I am having to have surgery to remove my birth control after he inserted it wrong.

I have been going to go see Dr. Dafashy for about 4- 5 years. You will wait about 45 - 1 hour before you see him. His staff is not very friendly. It will take about 3 to 4 days to hear from them. If you want to ask him questions he is very short and doesn't listen. Good luck getting one question answered. He said I had several cyst in my ovaries and that I needed surgery. He would remove my left ovary and left tube. He spent 5 minutes in the room with me. I called back and it took him 4 days to call me back. I had several questions he answered one of them. I went to get a second opinion. I had surgery with the new doctor. Dr. Delgado (Pasadena, Texas) and she was able to remove my cyst. I still have my ovaries and tubes. If you visit him make sure you go get a 2nd opinion.

Dr. Dafashy is one of the best doctors I've ever used. He is knowledgeable, patient and caring. He always has a smile. His staff on the other hand, rude, snappy and totally uncaring. They seem to ave forgotten I chose to come there, they work for me. If I didn't adore my doctor, I'd find another one and not bat an eyelash.

It has been a pleasure and honor, in finding Dr. Dafashy. He is most caring and attentive. He eased my concerns that were caused by a previous miscarriage. You are truly God sent, Dr. Dafashy.

Before going to any doctor I check their malpractice and cmplaints background.I was happily surprised that Dr Dafashy doesn't have a record.When I met him I found out why. He is nice passionate and very experienced I had my 2 babies with him he is great
