Dr. Dhimant Bipin Shelat, MD

Always late. No matter if it is a phone appt, or an office visit, expect wait at least 45 to 60 minutes over your scheduled time. He talks in circles, never gets to the point, and bounces from topic to topic. Very irritating when you have an 83 year old patient whom you are trying to care for and cannot get any response from his dr.

I have switched drs 3 times in the last 3 years I am 74 and it just seems most drs ( I’ve seen ) just look at your age and do the bare minimal I found Dr Shelby through my grandaughter who found him through her boss he has been a blessing for the last 4 years I have had excruciating pain in my back and finally numbness in my leg and hands he looke at my ultra sound and immediately got me an appointment with a back surgeon who also agreed my back is severe my previous drs key saying it’s probably your nerves and I has to live with it. Thank you Dr Shelby for taking time with me and always checking things I ask or complain about and always getting back to me. You are a true blessing

I was given this doctor automatically after years with Kaiser and a different primary physician who left to private practice. My prior physician cared for me for over 15 years and was amazing. I don’t require regular or extensive care. For over three years now, my experience with Dr. Shelat has been extremely unpleasant. He is rude and unresponsive. Emails go unanswered. Telephone or in person appointments are always 30-45 minutes late. The longest was over an hour at the clinic because I was his last patient of the day. Once I got in, I wasn’t sure if he was tired or on drugs but he talked in circles and I had to call another doctor the following day to obtain consultation and get antibiotics. His bedside manner is non existent. I’ve filed a complaint with Kaiser and finally making the time to select a new doctor. Choose anyone else!

He is always running late and even misses appts. Lacks empathy and seldom lets the patient speak. Talks a lot about himself And his lifestyle and shows no interest in anything you have to say. Can be very brash and rude as well. Can’t change docs fast enough and would not recommend him to anyone!

It seems like he really doesn't care about his patients, he talks in circles & is always running late!!

Can't change doctor fast enough, strange appointment seemed more self-interest than in patient, Rambled on about medications , never did exam.Took forever, no time concept. Left me feeling uncomfortable.
