Dr. Dhruva Rao Gulur, MD

Dr.Gulur has been my Dr for many years. He is the reason I am still here today. I have many different heath conditions that he has got through to me to take care of myself. I use to be the person that if a dr didn’t listen and seem like they cared for me I would just be like I don’t need meds or a dr and not go. It wasn’t until I got to a point I just couldn’t function and felt sick all the time. I made an apt he was taking new patients and he really listened and cared for me. Hands down and truly blessed he came into my life when he did!

Dr. Gulur is understanding, and caring doctor. He listens to what issue or problem is and helps. He doesn't dismiss issues like I have received from past doctors. He is 100% there for you and your needs not for himself and paychecks. He is there for patients.

He's a good doctor, I give him a 10.

This provider took a long time to get into but was worth it. He understands you through his life experiences and shows a great deal of empathy. He partners with you to provide an experience that is medically sound and grounded. He is not a pill pusher and takes time to get to know patients. The fact that he cares is very evident. The doctor has an excellent bedside manner. He really knows how to listen, is deeply attentive and asks great questions. He shares his lifes experiences which humanize the provider. He is never in a rush and has been seeing our whole family for years. He comes highly recommended by our whole family.

Dr. Gulur has been very pleasant to work with, he is sympathetic and cares for his patients. I highly recommend him .

To be honest, I feel like I’ve had nothing but trouble with this provider in the 3 years I’ve been assigned to him. I keep giving him the benefit of the doubt, but it keeps biting me in the butt. He is very nice and tries to be personable, but his bedside manner leaves something to be desired. He tends to use strange analogies and over share which can make visits very awkward. There was a time when he told me he could only address one concern per visit, while other problems were left unmanaged. For a patient with autoimmune issues, this doesn’t work well. I know others who absolutely love Dr. Gulur, but we just didn’t click. He wrote patients a two week notice that he’s leaving the clinic. He says he’ll be going around the country teacher other doctors about “better patient care and attentiveness”. At my last visit with him, he asked me to write a review of his care. It was very uncomfortable as he asked me to write it while he wrote his chart notes. Oh well, on to finding a doctor… better suited for my medical needs.
