I went in to see Dr. Clavin because I heard she was the best. I am having all the symptoms of a hormonal imbalance due to menopause .(As stated on the very large sign in their waiting room!) First off let me say that I do NOT have insurance yet so I am cash pay. After filling out the paper work I was charged $185. I didnt think anything of it at first because alot of drs charge alot up front in case they have to do a procedure. So I get called into the back and the nurse asks me why i am there. I tell her this took all of 3 min. She then brings me into the dr OFFICE. Clavin then proceeds to "talk to me" about my issue. 3 min. Later ( not lying) I am heading to the exit. NO EXAM, NO NOTHING! I am beyond mad. I feel I have been taken advantage of. I will be filing formal complaints with everyone I can.

She told me what I needed to hear during my pregnancy, she doesn’t beat around the bush. And during my labor I was having a panic attack, she was so calm and professional. Very reassuring!

I seriously love her. She is very blunt which I love in people. She always knows how to joke but also be serious. She is an amazing dr.

Dr. Clavin helped me through several miscarraiges. She and her staff were very professional, caring and patient with me through a very difficult time. I am grateful to her for her efforts as a doctor in helping me try to pinpoint the problem without pushing the issue with me and allowing me take the lead. She is still my regular Gyn. and I would recommend her to others with difficult pregnancies.

I wasn't at all happy with this doctor through my pregnancy. She was unwilling to listen and gave the general impression that I was wasting her time. I was also asked if I would like to have my tubes tied... I was only 20. A friend of mine who had seen her through out her latest pregnancy was also asked if she wanted her tubes tied (repeatedly, and even when she was in surgery for her ceasarean!) and she's under 25 and, like me, has every intention of having more children. While she may be a capable doctor with all the proper credentials and I would trust her educated judgement, I do not recommend anyone to go to her unless they like to be subjected to a heavy load of disrespect.
