Dr. Diana Moga, MD

I attended this session as part of couples therapy. Within twenty minutes, without asking my partner a single substantive question, the clinician advised me to end my relationship and break up my family. No process. No assessment. No basis for that conclusion. In any professional context, a conclusion without process is a liability. I was deeply disturbed by this clinician’s approach. Even as the person she appeared to be advocating for, I found her conduct unprofessional and alarming. I would not recommend this practice.

I attended one session with Dr. Moga with my partner seeking couples therapy. Within approximately 20 minutes she indicated she could not help me. She showed no curiosity about what I shared, asked no meaningful follow-up questions, and made clear my portion of the session was over. I left. She then continued the session privately with my partner. The experience in the session itself was deeply one-sided. When my partner spoke she was warm and engaged. When I spoke I felt dismissed. When I stated a basic need as the primary caregiver of three young children she responded dismissively. Following the session I submitted a formal request for my records. I never signed any intake paperwork or consent forms with her office — only my partner had signed a practice policies form. Despite this she has refused to release my records, citing a designated patient arrangement I never agreed to. I came to this session vulnerable and honest. I left feeling dismissed, judged, and unheard. I would not… recommend Dr. Moga for couples therapy.
