Dr. Diana Volpert, MD, PhD

I wish I could give this doctor zero stars. I took my son to her last year for reflux. She was demeaning, condescending, and rude. She did nothing to help, other than push formula. She told me he was failure to thrive and said I needed to immediately switch him to formula, because he clearly was reacting to my breast milk, even though his allergy tests and stool sample test was negative for any sign of a reaction. He wasn't failure to thrive. His father is 5' tall, so he's small too for his genetics, he's completely healthy. He's now 1.5n still nursing, and thriving. I'm so glad I didn't give into this doctor's bullying tactics.

If I could give Dr. Volpert a ZERO I would. Brought my 13 month old son to her bc he has a clear dairy intolerance (which she also agreed with at the end of the appt). She had absolutely no idea how to handle a toddler. She made him so uncomfortable. At the end she said she wants me to try a "toddler formula" to make sure he is getting enough nutrition. She gave me two samples. When I got home I took a look and in big, bold letters it says CONTAINS MILK. She should have her license taken away.

This doctor was kinda insulting to my special needs child. As a doctor, you should have a clue about Autism especially in NJ where the rates are so high. Not caring or patient, not helpful at all.

Horrible bedside manner. Advised my breastfed baby be taken off of breastmilk to be given formula with no evidence at all for something that isn’t even in her scope of practice. Said that my baby “looks terrible” referring to her skin (she has eczema) and that’s when I had to vocalize how unprofessional and offensive she was being. Would not recommend to anyone; ever. This doctor needs better social and interpersonal skills for sure and is a quack for sure. Wish I could give her no stars but it’s a field requirement.

Dr. Volpert had a hard time understanding why i was there while my son had a consistent issue that she wasn't sure how to address. I got billed $400 for the service which was a total waste of time. Will never go back.

Just sweet talk, no real help. She will listen to you, but will not do anything extra.

It is very comforting to find a practitioner who is able to listen and answer all questions and concerns without one feeling pressure to leave an office. She was extremely professional, courteous, and sensitive to all of our concerns regarding our minimally verbal son with autism and severe GI pain issues. We trust her judgement and are comforted by her expertise and excellent bedside manners. Will be definitively continue our relationship with this doctor and highly recommend her to others!
