Dr. Diane Beth Kaufman, MD

I tried to have Dr Kaufman, but she was not taking any patients. My experience with the OBGYN office was terrible. The front desk was lackadaisical and the nurses looked miserable. The doctor. ended up with was okay, but she clearly doesn't run a tight ship. When I was having complications with my pregnancy, the front desk told me my doctor wasn't available or they would not take my call. When I was on the phone with my doctor about my concerns, she was understanding about my concerns, but she said I should have made an appointment. I explained the situation with the front desk, and she told me it was my job to push them more instead of fixing the problem herself. Most doctors apologize and fix the problem if they want to run a reputable practice. I couldn't get out of that practice fast enough, especially since the OBGYN now I have is wonderful and the practice is more competent. This is a place that clearly lacks pride in their practice when there is an obvious negative work… environment and the doctors allow their front desk to be so incompetent. I should also stress this is the only doctor's office that has never offered a survey asking about my experience, so I am writing about it here. Not even offering a survey shows that the practice doesn't care about its patients' experience and well being. If you are looking for an OBGYN, go somewhere else.

I would not recommend this physician for obstetrics care. I found her to be so relaxed in a field that requires extensive follow up and hyper vigilance. It works out great if you have an uncomplicated pregnancy but she has a hard time differentiating between complicated vs uncomplicated cases. I can honestly say every step of the way during my first pregnancy she screwed me. She isn’t cautious or careful in managment. I would not risk going to her. I am a healthy 29 year old with no previous medical issues and somehow due to her carelessness ended up with infections and an emergent c-section. The only good thing was she didnt perform the procedure.

Dr. Kaufman is an excellent physician. She is smart and up to date with best practices. She listens and always has time for you. She is the benchmark for outstanding patient care.

A fabulous Doctor! We were so pleased with Dr. Kaufman. She is a bright, caring and thoughtful person. I knew I was in good hands. Couldn't be better!

It is my blessing that I found her as my OB. I had a very complicate twin pregnancy and she was very good from diagnosis to follow up and thus the safe delivery. I had a very short cervix and was also diagnosed with the severe gestational diabetes and finally the PUPPS. She is caring, prompt and very knowledgeable and she always puts her patient first. I felt very safe most of the time during my difficult time. She was helpful to find us the best pediatric doctor as well and the best classes to take during the pregnancy.She has to be one of the best of best.
