Dr. Diane Mcgrory, MD

If I could give 0 stars I would. I used to go to Dr. McGrory as a late teen/early 20's. I will NEVER go back to her. She is condescending, judgmental, insensitive, isn't transparent with and takes advantage of her patients. At the last visit, I waited 50 minutes (making me late for work), and then she tried to get me to redo tests that I had just previously done a couple months ago so that her training NP could get experience. Funny--I wonder who was going to pay for those tests. She never asked me if this was okay, just assumed. She was incredibly judgmental for STD testing, when you would hope that a female gynecologist would be supportive to young women. She should take a cultural competence training. Or better yet, just retire!!!! When I left a voicemail to complain about my experience, the secretary called back. It would have been nice if the person who actually did the damage apologized. That speaks for her character. I'd rather eat dirt than have her be my doctor.

When I arrived at the office, 2 of McGrory's assts. ignored me when I tried to check-in and I was standing right in front of them. It was so rude and bizarre. Finally, a third woman came by after hearing me knock on the glass window several times. Also, I had to wait over an hour for a simple exam only to find out that McGrory was talking to another patient about non medical stuff. I could hear the whole conversation because they were in the next room. I then asked her asst. to get her, and was ignored again. Would not recommend this doctor, and doesn't respect people's time.

Had to wait in the examination room half naked for 45 minutes. Had my copay refunded and walked out. Staff and doctor could care less. Would not recommend this practice.

I received a bill for an appointment I never made. Dr. McGrory is a wonderful doctor. I wish her billing staff was better. Her staff said I made an appt. and missed it. NO I DID NOT. I hope Dr. McGrory hires better staff for billing. Such a shame because Dr. McGrory really is a great doctor. I never had any issues with her office until this week.

The most intelligent, caring and pro active doctor I have ever visited.
