Dr. Diane Rose, MD

I saw this dr. after losing both parents in 2006. She was out of network so I paid her $225.00 ea time cash. My out of network ded was $6k. I found her to be stiff and odd and

you can tell she just wants her paycheck and for you to leave.horrible looking office with rat traps everywhere and a horrible attitude on her.

An excellent, well educated and caring psychiatrist. Would highly recommend.

She has a hearing disability yet chooses to do nothing to compensate. As discussions of a personal nature are typically spoken in subdued tones, it was very unsettling to constantly hear "huh" after talking throughout the session. I found her reluctant to consider tapering me from one med to another in an attempt to minimize my adverse and debilitating symptoms. I have since changed providers and am feeling 1,000 times better.

Shes very nice. But she over charges me. She raised the price 2 times within a year. I went to a different doctor and paid a 100 less!!! It's not worth it

I have been seeing Dr. Rose weekly for 3 months. I still cannot believe I was able to see me within a week, which surprised me with her credentials.There is no receptionist, she's a one woman show, but she's super efficient. If you call her, she will return the call in less than 24 hours. It takes me a while to open up and trust someone, so it's not a surprise to me that it took me three months to truly evaluate my experince. Dr. Rose is not "warm and fuzzy" or at least that's my opinion; however, she's a wonderful doctor and very thorough. I didn't want "warm and fuzzy." Although I wanted compassion and care, and she gives you that, but she will challenge you. My only issue is that she's not in network and you have to pay cash and wait for reimbursement if you have insurance. However, for a doctor of her stature, I can understand why I had to go out of network to get this level of care. I highly recommend Dr. Rose. I suffer from major depression and anxiety and she is… helping me to heal one visit at a time.

In response to one of the other comments, I would like to say that Dr. Rose is anything but unsympathetic. She is kind, compassionate and seems to genuinely care about her patient's treatment and recovery. After the birth of my first child, I had an extreme case of O.C.D. and anxiety. She gave me an appointment almost immediately and I was a new patient. She not only sat with me, but also my husband, upon the first visit. I began to feel more like myself after our first session. She has helped me a great deal. I couldn't say enough about her. Not only is she an excellent psychiatrist, she is a true professional- which is unfortunately a rarity within the medical community as of late. ** The quality of office staff cannot be commented on because there is no office staff! This is another plus. Dr. Rose handles all paperwork- so there is no disgruntled secretary to deal with. Just one more thing- Dr. Rose has NEVER had a problem calling or writing to my insurance company on my behalf.… How many doctors make time for that?

Spent as much time talking about her own life, as she did talking about mine. Making it through med school is just the beginning. Dealing with the mind and emotions requires insight and empathy, and Dr. Rose has none. Surely she doesn't intend to be unsympathetic...she just doesn't "get it".

Dr. Rose is a wonderful doctor. She is insightful and patient and has helped me figure out my life. I would recommend her to everyone interested in learning about themselves and how to get better.
