Welcome to my Web page. I have happily practiced at Kaiser Permanente for over 20 years. I am one of the regular staff pediatricians here at our Glendale Medical Offices, and I occasionally work at the pediatric after-hours clinic at Los Angeles Medical Center. BiographyI have always enjoyed working with young people, whether volunteering for Future Teachers of America or the American Red Cross when I was in high school. In college I worked both in the laboratory and as a hospital student volunteer. All these experiences helped me on my road to becoming a physician.About my practiceOur nursing staff gives consistently excellent service. I am very fortunate to work with such capable nurses. Our pediatric group consists of five physicians, including myself.How I thriveI feel that balance among mind, body, and spirit is very important. Over the years I have developed a regular exercise plan that includes long walks, yoga, and qigong practice. I have been a member of a book club for 25 …years, which has enriched my life. Over the years volunteerism has been very important to me, whether mentoring medical students, working with my local Head Start preschool program, or encouraging young people to seek careers in medicine.
