Dr. Diane Marie Sober, MD

I only had one appointment with her and refuse to ever go back. She was rude and didn't listen. She told me I was too young to be on birth control (I was 25), and kept demanding to know where my parents were, and not only didn't give me a new prescription, but refused to even discuss birth control options with me because again, I was too young to be making my own health care decisions. At the end of the appointment she finally read my chart and realized I wasn't a teenager, but she just doubled down instead of apologizing. She was so rude and mean I left the appointment in tears. I had to make an appointment with a different doctor to get my medication.

Dr Sober has been my OB for years! She has went above and beyond for me, checking in when I was in the ER, calling me the following day. She’s a wonderful human being and very knowledgeable doctor!

Horrible doctor ! Does not even care about your well being! If you go to Pittsburgh Gynob don’t choose this one!

Something is all the more troubling when female doctors do negligent things that lead to disaster to ANOTHER FEMALE and you realize that the things that were said and done were all about covering for themselves, no thought or care was given to the devastation caused in your life. Sickening.

Outstanding doctor!

If you are looking for an unsympathetic, negative OB, go see this doctor. I had to see this doctor for my last pregnancy, and she was so negative. All of the other doctors in that practice are amazing. Avoid this one...

Went to her for 21 years, been deathly ill for 2 years. Over due for pap now. Called because I needed one thing for the pap to be performed that would have taken less than five minutes to take care of. The nurse/assistant was the most hateful person you could imagine, refused to help me, was not even listening to what I was saying to her. Wrote Dr. Sober about what happned and never heard one word from her or her office. Medical care has no “care” in it anymore. This assistant should be saying “there but for the grace of God go I.....” instead of behaving like she does. She should get a job sitting in a room by herself with a computer. She shouldn’t be in contact with living beings in any way, shape or form. So much for patient loyalty.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sober's for nearly 15 years and have recommended her to my friends. She takes time with her patients and puts you at ease.

I have gone to Dr. Sober for years. She is wonderful! BUT the practice is TOO LARGE and patients are required to schedule appointment 7 months in advance. If you cancel they charge and it takes months to get another appointment. If you have a problem forget seeing a doctor in a timely fashion. I have no idea why each location listed says they are taking new patents when they seem overloaded as it is.

I've been a patient of Dr. Sober for about 14 years. Although it is difficult to get an appointment sometimes she is well worth the wait. She is a cut above the rest. Nothing gets past her and I am confident that I am in good hands when I see her. I finally lucked out and found a good OB/GYN and I don't plan on ever letting go!!
