Dr. Diane Rachel Zanger, MD

Forgetful, does not take time to review my medical history. Does not listen to my issues, tells me to take acetaminophen for pain or keep painful areas elevated. Scheduled a stress test but was unable to operate the machine for more than 5 mins, finally gave up said she would project results but still billed me for full test. Told her my BP was high but she was slow to prescribe meds and then wanted to wait to increase or change meds, even though BP was still uncontrolled for long period after surgery. Patients treated as business rather then human beings. Long wait despite scheduled appt. quick to get through appt, if u have no issues, she is fine if she remembers you but otherwise, very dismissive of you have issues. Staff doses not consistently return calls or follow through with med refills for over 2 months despite repeated calls and in-person visits.

Based on some of the negative comments I read here, I almost cancelled my appointment. Boy, that would have been a BIG mistake. I found Dr. Zanger to be attentive, patient, and a pleasure. She spent more time with me than I would have expected...no rush at all. She also let me ask my myriad of questions (believe me, there were plenty). She was thorough while not being alarmist. She did not overprescribe testing - we had a frank discussion about what made most sense. I highly recommend Dr. Zanger.

Barely examines you. Spent more time on the computer than speaking to me and exam was about 20 seconds in length, even after I asked if she would listen to my heart again to hear the issue, she wouldn't.

after suffering a heart attack and through the ER was given this office....the worst staff I have ever encountered! Dismissive, rude and unprofessional!!

Dr. Zanger is an excellent physician; she is thorough, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain findings and procedures.

Dr. Zanger is an excellent doctor, and I am very lucky to have found her.

Talked over me, not a good listener and dismissive of issues that can affect a womans heart. Lecturing and patronizing. I would not recommend this woman for womans heart issues.
