Dr. Dilipchandra H Tapadiya, MD

I was a child when I saw him, he performed surgery on both my knees. He did not charge a penny, until my family was able to pay him. It has been 30 years and I am still very grateful for what he did.

Recently my husband had a second knee replacement done by Dr. Tapadiya. The results were amazing with an excellent range of motion in a short period of time. The reason the surgery went so well is Dr. Tapadiya has traveled around the United States to learn the best techniques to create a successful outcome. He is so good that people come from around the world to seek his surgical skills. He does not only jointt implants, but reconstructive surgery too. In addition, his office staff and physical therapists are both welcoming and truly professional. You are very fortunate to be able to have him solve your orthopedic needs.

Years ago my husband met Dr. Tapadiya while needing surgery on his elbow. Our experience was great! This Dr. picked up on the fact that my husband is and was a no nonsense type personality and hard to keep down as a patient. My husband had a serious infection and Dr. Tapadiya explained the deal to my husband in terms he could understand the severity of what he was facing. This helped a ton!!! My husband had 2 more surgeries (one on the same elbow and one on the other elbow). We had lots of face time with this Dr. and grew to have a pretty good understanding that Tapadiya cared for the outcome of his patience but didn't sugar coat anything. This is the kind of Dr. we needed for my husband. Today, I am having issues with my hip. Dr. Tapadiya was the first Dr. that came to mind. I wouldn't waste my time going anywhere else. I'm hoping it's nothing but if it's something, I am confident that I'm in good hands.

Office staff not very friendly, you have a long wait. Every one seems confused on running the office and the billing department is horrible..

dr tapadiya is an excellent doctor except for his staff and his back office girl connie is the rudest person ever, and their billing is all messed up, i will never return to his office untill he gets new personell

I am a 67 year old male who fell on two consecutive days, breaking my kneecap the first time and my wrist the second time.Paramedics took me to the Fountain Valley Hospital emergency room after the second fall.Later that evening Dr. Tapadiya visited and explained his plans for surgery.My wrist was caught in a crutch handle on the second fall, and was bent into an S-curve. Dr. Tapadiya manually straightened it the night before surgery, and his skill was very evident, since that was nearly painless.I slept through the surgery, but was nearly pain free afterward.He had me transferred to a rehabilitation facility for several days from the hospital, and I have had one follow-up appointment in his office.He spent a lot of time explaining his plans to me, my wife, and my daughter in the hospital prior to the surgery.I feel exceedingly fortunate to have gotten Dr. Tapadiya as my surgeon. If I every had need of an orthopedist, or had family or friends in need, I would go to Dr. Tapadiya… without hesitation.

Our family have been patients of Dr. Tapadiya for over 15 years. My brother, my mother and my kids went there for fractures, back sprain and hip replacement. We all love him. He is extremely competent; he strikes the right balance between being aggressive in correcting conditions versus watchful waiting; and he takes into account our individual situation and our wants and what our goals are before rushing to surgery. He is very friendly and honest (even returned an overpayment to us once!) We love going to him. Sometimes the waits are long but you get what you pay for--he spends a lot of time with you, and he seems to have a large devoted patient base which is why his waiting room is full, but also is a testament to his good doctoring.
