Had not done ex ray. Diagnosis included infection of bone based on inflammation Recommend amputation. Then started reading emails on phone. Wound dr said that ex ray did not show infection. Toe healing fine now. God is good but dr not so.

I’m grateful for him saving my father’s life. During the surgery prepping stages, he was very compassionate and informative, but this changed after the procedure was complete. His bedside manners were lacking. Instead of looking through my father’s chart, he assumed my father never went to any doctors and that his oxygen levels had been very low for a long time without him knowing it. However, my father had been going to his doctors regularly and his oxygen levels were in the chart and had been normal. His last visit to see my father in the hospital, he never spoke to my father and mother at all. He never explained follow-up or asked how my father was feeling. My parents felt like they were invisible to him. He is a great surgeon but can definitely improve on his bedside manners.
