Dr. Dina Joseph Tebcherany, MD

I am an 80 year old man in very poor health that became a patient of this Juarez educated doctor in 2021. Throughout her care I became well acquainted with her characteristic pedantic personality marked by her hubris and ego. Durng that time she overlooked my obvious deteriorating kidney failure and regularly exaggerated my need for phlebotomies. Nonetheless, I mistakenly thought we shared a trusted and respectul relationship. However and May 21, 2025 she refused to see me after my regular procedure to discuss my troublesome blood work despite a confirmed appointment. When I attempted to schedule another appointment, I was notified by telelphone by one of her subordinates that pursuant to a letter I have yet to receive, I was permanently banned from every Texas Oncology facility and all health providers. I was given no reason or recourse dspite my attempts to clarify and resolve any issue that precipitated this unwarranted and extreme action on her part. Her action, of course,… has compromised my continuity of care and my reputation. In my opinion she is unprofessional, unethical and irresponsible. I regret ever meeting this woman.

Dr Tebcherany treated my husband back in 2005. He was given a terminal diagnosis in California; nevertheless, she treated him and was always concerned about him, how he felt, what was best for him. She listened to our thoughts, ideas and concerns and approached patient care in a team-like manner. She presented options and information but always left the decision to my husband. Sadly, yesterday I was back in her office. This time with my mother. Mom has just had surgery to remove a lump in her breast. Dr Tebcherany walked into the room with her rare quality of energy, empathy, care and concern. It's going to be a tough road - Mom is 83 and her breast cancer is aggressive. There is NO ONE I'd rather have on our team than Dr. Tebcherany. She's one in a million. No, she's one of a kind.

Terrible bedside manner, never calls patient’s or their representatives back, IS NOT CERTIFIED IN HEMATOLOGY!!! And just got her Oncology Certificate in 2016. Does not like questions to be asked apparently because she can’t answer them.
