Dr. Dinee Monique Riley, MD

I did not know I was not receiving good care until I became her patient! Dr Riley cares, is helpful, thorough, and great at her profession.

Dr. Riley's appalling conduct during my recent appointment was truly disheartening, highlighting a complete lack of professionalism. From her nasty and hostile demeanor, where she spoke to me as if I were a child, to her undermining of her own staff, she created an environment of discomfort and frustration. While my initial visits with Dr. Riley were satisfactory, the recent incident on November 30, 2023, revealed a disturbing side of her character. Not only did she make me wait for almost an hour past my scheduled appointment time, but her response to my concerns about a recurring eczema outbreak was dismissive and hostile. At my previous appointment, she prescribed an 80mg steroid shot followed by a nearly 2-week oral steroid protocol. I healed within a few days and felt great. A few days after the treatment ended, the eczema came back with a vengeance. I called her office and left a voice message. In that message I asked if I should just call a dermatologist or see Dr. Riley. A… staff member called me back and I reiterated my question. Their response was come see Dr. Riley and she'll determine if she can do anything or if I'll need to see a dermatologist. Sounds reasonable to me. They scheduled me in rather quickly. When Dr. Riley finally entered the room, her lack of hospitality was immediately apparent. Upon discussing my concerns about the recurring eczema outbreak, her response was dismissive and rude. What struck me most was Dr. Riley's attempt to shift the responsibility entirely onto me and her blatant undermining of her own staff. She claimed that her staff was not trained to give patients clear directives, suggesting they were incapable of making decisions. This not only reflected poorly on her leadership but also created a hostile and unprofessional atmosphere. She repeatedly insisted that I should have called the dermatologist, and kept saying "I told you to call the dermatologist" despite my attempts to explain that her staff had directed me to her for a decision. She had the audacity to tell me she's going to give me the dermatologist information and make me call them right then and there so she can watch to make sure I call. I don't know who she thinks she is, but I know who I am. And no, you will not micromanage or bully me. She didn't even take a look at the outbreak I had on my hands, neck or abdomen. In hindsight, I realized her intention was to never provide care or treatment for me. I called her out on the unnecessary hostile environment she was creating. The culmination of these events led to me leaving the appointment without receiving the necessary treatment. She demonstrated a complete disregard for my time and well-being. It is regrettable that such behavior overshadowed the positive experiences I initially had with Dr. Riley. As a result, I have chosen to discontinue any association with her and will not be recommending her services to others. This unfortunate turn of events serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect within the healthcare profession. If I would have been more thoughtful in choosing a doctor, she and I would never have crossed paths based on these reviews.

Dr. Riley is really nice. She gives good, thorough advice. She pushes me to adopt better, healthier habits. My issues are that 1.) She talks too fast, and it's even more challenging to hear her with a face mask on. And 2.) She's never available. I guess (?) it's a good sign that she's always booked. But when I have to wait 2 months for a general checkup... or I need a sick visit and the receptionist tells me to go to Urgent Care... that doesn't sit well with me. Oh and 3.) The wait time is awful. I love that she takes her time with each patient, but it makes it hard for someone who works and has to take a half day off just for a simple visit. I'll throw in 4.) I'll assume this has nothing to do with Dr. Riley, but this office no longer does lab work/blood draws (Lenora Church Rd. office). You have to go to another location for that now. Incredibly inconvenient, again, especially when I need to get back to work.

Dr. Riley canceled my appointment after it took me close to 4 weeks to get in, on he day of my appointment. I would have been a new patient. After such disregard I'm thankful for whatever reason she deemed to cancel my appointment being she's that inconsiderate of others. I would never refer her.

I was a patient of Dr. Riley when she was at Eastside. She left for awhile and returned to Lilburn. The she moved to Snellville / Lenora Church. I only had one visit but will never return. I was in the office from 10:20 Am to 12:45 PM. bout an hour was waiting to go back to the room. Dr. Riley told me I need two referrals . The front office told me its usually a 7 day wait for referrals. On the 7th day I called the office and left a message with the nurse Dawn. I never received a call back. I waited two days later and called back and left another message for the Nurse Dawn. Once again my call was never returned. The following day I called and spoke with the person at the front desk Courtney. I was then told I would have to speak with Dawn regarding this and no on else could help. She then transferred me to Dawns desk. I called back and said that I had left two messages and that someone else should be able to help.Courtney then told me to hold on and she would try and get… Dawn on the phone. Courtney left me on hold for 39.01 minutes and never returned to the phone. This is no way to treat patients. I will never ever come back . Poor is too good of a rating for this practice.

She missed that my wife had Stage 4 cancer through out her body. She did not seem to want to listen to what symptoms were or what was going on. I took my wife the ER on a Monday. She was going into septic shock. They did CT scans. She had stage 4 cancer in most of her body. She never left the hospital My wife passed away 1 week after Doctor said it was her medication making her feel bad. Finish the medicine and come back in a month. My wife felt totally abandoned by Dr Riley.

I was unemployed for 9 months and no health care, I’ve had 2 strokes and was prescribed 3 different BP medications and had run out of refills, so I called the office and spoke to Dr Riley’ Nurse Dawn and advised her the I was unemployed and no healthcare , and that I would be starting a new job opportunity in a few days, I ask the nurse Dawn to explain my situation to Dr Riley I was just asking for one month refill until my healthcare started back with the new company. The nurse Dawn called me back and said Dr Riley said no refills for my BP medication and that I needed to schedule an office visit which would have cost 147.00$ just to get my BP medicine (which was a lot of money especially when I hadn’t worked for 9 months). When I first met Dr Riley I thought she was a really good doctor, I referred my friends to her. I thought Dr Riley’s actions was cruel and mean, non caring to my request, once my healthcare started again I would have scheduled an appointment, however at this point… I will not consult her for her services again and will call the friends that I referred to her, and hopefully they will make the same decision as I did. Dr Riley I’m sure God is watching you, I hope you will be more mindful of decisions going forward and don’t let money rule your heart. I wish you well and please change your heartless ways

Really nice until you have to call her office for anything other than an appointment. Has the thinnest skin regarding a single question. Seems to relish firing you from her practice. Only found this out when I was fired and started some research. Seems I'm just one of many to challenge her and be "unwelcomed." Watch out, she's got some psychological issues and you may be the next target.
