Dr. Dino Nick Frangos, MD

I saw Dr. Frangos at Victory Health Partners during a clinic he holds there twice per month for uninsured patients. I have stage 4 CKD among other serious health issues. Unfortunately it’s been my experience that when doctors do clinics they simply want to treat easy cases and get their “good deed” credit without taking on too much of a case. This doctor actually listened to the questions I had and did his best to answer each one. He treated me with respect and he recognized that I need consistent care and helped me to connect with a clinic for long term care. He didn’t just push me off, he made sure I was comfortable with the group and doctor and explained in detail some recent results I’d gotten from a recent hospital trip. Admittedly I’m not a huge fan of being treated by male physicians regarding the anatomy of pain below the equator because they tend to lack empathy having never experienced cramps, labor, etc. He is truly kind and patient and not condescending at all. I would… highly recommend him, in fact I have to my brother. Btw, he referred me to Dr. Lori Fleck who has a new clinic at USA. I saw her in the beginning of my illness so I knew when he told me how amazing she is, he was telling the truth.

I was referred to him by my doctor. He pretended to Listen even asked if I had questions but did not help me. I waited a while to see him and then was basically told my problem wasn’t as bad as the last 3 patients so I should be ok without further examination. Told me to go to my gynecologist to get an ultrasound if I wanted but he didn’t see the purpose. Told him my struggle with allergies to antibiotics and he still prescribed them even though he says my urine culture shows no infection! Why would I take medicine that hurts me when I don’t even have an infection??? Terrible experience. He may be very smart in his field but he needs a dose of kindness. I never write bad reviews. But I am so taken back by his attitude towards me.

Great doctor, very competent and prompt. Easily accessible office with polite and organized staff. Would highly recommend.

He is a horrible listener, not even let me finish my sentence. Not sure if that's because he knows his stuff or he doesn't. Everything was in such a big rush in his exam room. I felt as if I were on an fast-moving assembly line and his job was simply tight the bolt, provided that he knew what he was doing, which I highly doubt. Oh, wait, did I mention I spent two hours in the waiting room? (I arrived at his office 10 minutes earlier). I doubt that he has time to think at all, or even have the intention to listen to his patients and treat them as fellow human-beings with come up with specific plans. Needless to say, in his eyes, I was just an object that generates revenue. I really believe he is gonna do well as assembly-line manager, but not a doctor.

After waiting over a month for an initial consultation I arrived 5 minutes early. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked about my status. After 45 minutes I asked again, and finally after an hour waiting for just a consultation on a procedure I was considering I asked for my file back and left. I made a follow up call and left a message with his personal nurse. I never received a call back. I have no knowledge if the doctor is good because I never got a chance to see him, but judging by the difficulty I had I give him poor marks on properly training his staff.
