Dr. Dirk Eckroat was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. He attended Bowling Green State University and The University of Oklahoma prior to The University of Oklahoma College Of Dentistry. There he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating with special distinction. Realizing his passion for treating children in dental school, Dr. Eckroat decided to pursue pediatric dental residency and was accepted into Children’s Mercy Hospital-Kansas City residency program. This additional training allowed Dr. Eckroat to expand his skills providing care to children with complex medical and dental needs.
Dr. Eckroat is certified in both BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
He is excited to be a part of the team at Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry! Dr. Eckroat believes every child deserves the best possible dental care in a positive environment.
