Dr. Divyang Chhagan Ayar, MD

Might be a good Doctor, he had a attitude like my questions and thoughts didn’t matter . Not a Doctor for me.

Dr Ayar is a knowledge doctor with a bedside manner that immediately put me at ease. He was attentive and patient while explaining procedures, options, possible outcomes while answering questions with sincere interest in my understanding. He runs a team of professional support staff that are always friendly and like Dr Ayer gave me their full attention when they were interacting with me. The outcome of my procedures were exactly as he explained. I was especially impressed with seriousness of following sterile protocols of the surgical team and the concern they had for my comfort during my procedures. The follow up care was taken seriously and again spent the time needed to answer questions and assure everything was successful.

Not happy with this doctor. He said my insurance does not cover the procedure I need for three months. He added “even Medicare only might approve after three months, but you probably don’t have Medicare, you’re not 65 yet”, while laughing, very sarcastic person, left me feeling like I wasted my time and money.

After careful consideration, I decided to change my vascular medical care provider to Coastal Vascular Center. It was a relatively easy decision to make after carefully reviewing the credentials, ratings and reviews for Dr. Divyang Ayar. It is not my normal practice to submit a review even though I highly rely on them in finalizing personal choices/decisions. However, I was so impressed with this facility and my experience there, an exception was made. As a new patient, who has visited many doctors over the years, both Dr. Ayar and his staff (special thanks to Thanh and Courtney!) stood out among the rest. Dr. Ayar is extremely knowledgeable as a Vascular Interventional Specialist and is able to explain things in layman terms to ensure complete understanding at the patient level. He listens carefully to understand patient medical issues/needs and ask all the right questions to formulate a logical and methodical path forward for further diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Ayar took the… time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and made me feel I was his #1 priority during my visit. Not once did I ever feel "rushed" to leave. In addition to conveying genuine compasion for his patients, Dr. Ayar also demonstrates exceptional attention to detail at every turn. This clean, modernized medical facility in Pearland is top notch, state of the art, and exemplies a relaxing, calming affect with its tasteful, coastal décor. Trust me when I tell you it's a patient's paradise! So thankful I took a chance on it!

Dr. Ayar is an exceptional doctor with a compassionate bedside manner. He takes the time to listen and is empathetic. I had a medical issue which required immediate attention. Dr. Ayar saw me within hours of my call even though it required him and his staff to stay late. I never felt rushed and all my questions were answered. His staff went above and beyond when I ran into an insurance issue for my medication. They called around and found the cheapest pharmacy for me to fill my prescription until my insurance issue was solved. I would 100% recommend Dr. Ayar.
