Dr. Jain earned his medical degree from Medical College, Rohtak in India. He underwent residency in Internal Medicine and cardiology fellowship from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India. He underwent further fellowship training in cardiology and cardiovascular research at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, Middx, UK and Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven CT. He advanced through the ranks of Assistant and Associate Professor at Yale University School of Medicine and then moved to Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia as a Professor of Medicine (Cardiovascular Medicine) and Director of Nuclear Cardiology Laboratories. Dr. Jain is internationally renowned in the fields of nuclear cardiology and molecular cardiovascular imaging; behavior, mental stress and heart disease; and cardiotoxicity of cancer chemotherapy. He has published over 125 original scientific papers, review articles and book chapters. He has also …co-authored 2 books. Dr Jain has lectured extensively worldwide and has earned many awards throughout his long career. Dr. Jain has served as a member of several editorial boards, has reviewed books and has served as a scientific reviewer for over 25 medical journals including the Journal of American Medical Association, Circulation, Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, Journal of American College of Cardiology (JACC) and JACC Imaging, Journal of Nuclear Medicine.In addition, Dr. Jain is also a member of several other organizations and councils including the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC). He served as President of the Cardiovascular Council of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Chair of the scientific program committee of the annual meeting of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He has also served on several quality assurance committees of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and has co-authored official documents and publications.
