A native of Louisiana, Dr. D'Lane Sally Miller, received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University, and completed a dual internship in Adult Therapy and Child and
Family Evaluation and Treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Miller obtained her Florida License as a Psychologist in 1981.

While at Cedars, Dr. Miller received training in the treatment of children with developmental delays, to include autism spectrum disorders. As an administrator in Florida, Dr. Miller was
the Program Director of the Crisis Stabilization Unit in Santa Rosa County, the Clinical Program Director at the Psychiatric Treatment Center at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center,
followed by the position of Ancillary Staff at the Medical Center, where she provided psychological services to inpatients. As an outpatient clinician, Dr. Miller worked as a
psychotherapist at the Lakeview Center in Pensacola, Florida and then for 16 years at Psychiatric Associates in Fort Walton Beach, Florida treating children, adults, couples, and
families, focusing on trauma recovery, the treatment of anxiety and depression, conducting ADHD evaluations and consulting at Gulf Coast Treatment Center/Rivendell of Fort Walton
Adolescent Unit.

In 2002, Dr. Miller and Dr. Edward Chandler, a Florida Licensed Psychologist, Level II Certified Telehealth Provider and author of Psychomechanics: Tools for Self-Regulation of Emotions,
formed Turning Point Center for Psychological and Family Growth located in Mary Esther, Florida. During this period of her career, Dr. Miller continued her administrative role as
President of Turning Point, with Dr. Chandler serving as Vice President. Clinically her interest in the treatment of Post-traumatic stress disorder grew and she received further training in
the treatment Dissociative Identity Disorders and the treatment of military trauma, which led to membership in the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. True to
her training at Cedars, Dr. Miller also continued to develop her interest in the evaluation and behavioral treatment of ADHD. At the start of 2022, in the aftermath of the pandemic, Dr.
Miller and Dr. Chandler semi-retired and transformed Turning Point Center into a virtual office providing psychotherapy not only to residents of the Emerald Coast, but also to
residents throughout the State of Florida.
