Dr. Dmitry Byk, MD

I have seen Dr. Byk for a number of years now. At first I felt he was cool and not what I was looking for in a doctor. Over time we have grown to know each other better and I would now highly recommend his practice. He is at ease in the office and with tele-medicine.

I have seen Dr. Byk for a year now and have nothing but good things to say. He has a strong balance of keen professional knowledge and down-to-earth wisdom and empathy. If I could make this review weigh heavier I would, because the negative feedback I have read here seems misplaced and inspired by a general feeling of resentment at the world at large rather than a feature of his practice. I would recommend Dr. Byk without hesitation to anyone looking.

Awful doctor who does not care about the well being of his patients. You can have your degree and called yourself a doctor, but he doesn’t have any manners or compassion towards the people he treats.

Dr Byk has helped me immensely with my condition, the waiting time was short. The staff was nice and helpful, and he met all my psychiatric needs.

Reasonable wait times; Dr. had some knowledge of medication. However, I was often uncomfortable with the Doctor's manner specifically his lack of interpersonal skills. Considering his chosen field of endeavor I found him to be abrupt and at times arrogant. Most insurance companies allow 10 or 15 minutes for medication management. The Dr. was always in a hurry and I felt pressured to leave as soon as possible with or without answers to my questions. Other patients are not my concern, however I think there may be a correlation between the Doctor's attitude and case load. I never felt it was personal neither is this review. This was my particular experience. From a personal standpoint it was not difficult to seek out a physician with a demeanor that I found more suitable.

I am 60 suffer from aids and bipolar disorder, He threatened to have my disability and healthcare taken away from me. He is arrogant and has no interest in my health.

Dr Byk is a callous, egocentric, and lacks any real substance that makes for a quality Psychiatrist. I have never been on the receiving end of machinations so Machiavellian that it has rarely been my experience to encounter. Mental health required a certain level of care. He has none...stay away at all cost...other sites have hI'm at 1 to 2 stars
