Dr. Dmitry Gorbatov

Was asked to pay $2500.00 up front for service on a loose crown. Was from out of state on vacation. Three claims were filed by his office with several duplicate charges and one charge for a bite adjust on a day when I was having work done by my regular dentist, 1500 miles away from Dr Gorbatov’s office. After numerous calls to my insurance company and Dr Gorbatov’s office my insurance company informed me that my total financial responsibility was $1499.00. Anna who is the receptionist and insurance claims biller for Dr Gorbatov has been rude and combative with me as well as several claims associates with my insurance company. On one occasion Anna told me that my financial responsibility was $2849.00. I was also threatened with being sent to a collection agency which was a form of intimidation. I have recently filed a formal complaint with the Florida Health Department. I am still working with my insurance company to get my $1001.00 refund. Lesson DO NOT PAY FOR SERVICES UP FRONT.

Patients beware if you have dental insurance! DG Dentistry makes you pay in full at the front desk as well as taking your insurance details. But don't expect to receive you refund because when the insurance company sends the payments directly back to the Dentist they keep it and will not re-imbuse their patient. I spoke to the insurance company who confirmed that they payed DG Dentistry, so now DG Dentistry has received double payments. This behavior is illegal and DG Dentistry can face serious consequences from the insurance regulators. I have several cases still open with my insurance company, where Dmitry Gorbatov still owes me several thousands of dollars.

This office is the best we have found in quite some time. Jessica is conscientious, kind, helpful and polite. All others that we have come in contact with have been equally kind to my 90 year old mother. Dr.Victor is gentle, professional and skilled. He also speaks mom's native language and she is smiling again now. Thank you! I'm so impressed that I'm now going to make an appointment for myself.
