Dr. Dona Hunt, MD

This doctor told me I had HIV and told me I would be retested but none of her patients have ever come back negative after being positive! Some sympathy or bed side manner for a widow that had been married for 46 years to a husband. A Grandmother of 10 Grands and 2 living children a Christian Women wondering how she would have contacted this disease but this so called doctor left me crying in the office and said you can stay here as long as needed but you have to be turned over to a Infectious Disease Doctor as soon as possible. I didn't even know how I could give this disease to people so I resigned from working from my Church Kitchen Committee! Frighten that I may give someone something terrible disease. For three weeks I did nothing but cry and pray! I stayed so stressed out that I had 2 Grand-Mal Seizures due to Stress because I do have epilepsy! After seeing an Infectious Disease Doctor in South Point, Jacksonville, Fl, the doctor's first reaction to me was that I didn't fit… the criteria but he sent me to Quest Diagnostics and had 7 vials of blood drawn that day and I waited 5 more days of agony because it fell on the weekend. They called me that next Tuesday morning and let know that the bloodwork show that I did not have HIV or HEPATITIS C or HEPATITIS B!!!!!!!!! All that stress and pain and worry for nought!!! Dona Hunt I will never ever come to your office again after what you have put me and my family through!!!! You should not be practicing medicine anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made appointment over phone 45 minutes prior to arrival. one and half hours after appointment time she came in. Tried to explain problem, she wasn't interested, wanted to treat me for something entirely unrelated. Poor communication skills, arrogant, rude and unprofessional staff demands payment even before your extended wait starts.

It's hard to find a medical practice where do don't feel like you're being rushed in and out in 15minutes...Dr. Hunt and her staff make you feel like the old fashioned family doctor's office...sometimes she can almost tell what's wrong with me as soon as she walks in the room! Sometimes you may have a little wait,but i know when my turn comes she's going to give me every little bit of attention i need, just like she did the last patient...you just dont find doctors like this anymore,i would recommend her to everybody and i do!
