Dr. Donald Keith Bishop, MD

I absolutely love Dr. Bishop. While I was pregnant with my daughter I had so many issues and he took very good care of me. Always made sure my mind was at ease each visit.

Great doc--always takes enough time. Cares.

First let me say his nurses staff as amazing! The Dr. himself left us waiting for an hour after we saw the nurses and ultrasound tech. When he came in he did not knock. He then didn't seem to know what was going on. He took a personal call about two minutes in while I was in mid sentence. He then began to belittle everything I said. He kicked his feet up acting extremely cocky as I told him my prior birth control experiences, as he told me nothing I said could happen, like I was lying about it. When the subject of an IUD came up I was mid sentence saying that 5 years ago I was told it could cause scaring, before I could finish saying I knew this was more rare now, he flew his feet to the ground and began what felt like an attack. Asking, "Did you drive here today?" When I whispered yes, " Oh what do you mean you didn't walk? That's amazing, and you didn't die?" I answered no, he continued questioning me if I knew someone to die in a car wreak. All while leaned forward toward me with a… very mean tone. I'm an angry crier and ended up crying and walking out. He kept following me until I was in the lobby continuing the comments. My husband was with me and could believe the horrible bed side manner. I will never be going back and will actually be leaving the heartlands women's health practice which I have been using since 06. This was the first time I had ever seen Dr. Bishop. Very rude.

I love Dr Bishop! He is my favorite Dr that I have ever had.

Awesome Dr! You will have to wait for him, but it will be worth it

He its the best dr. He is very caring. I have been his patient for 7 years and couldn't imagine having anyone else!

I had my son at 27 weeks i started to bleed to death I had so many problems that no other ob could find.... the day I had my son he was awesome with out him being there I seriously think I would have died this man came to the hospital every day after for the next week to see me even when he was not on call....he spent over 30 min. with me each time just making sure I was ok!!! he had a great personality and truely cares I have 6 other children but he is the only ob I think I would refer anyone to!!! great DR. and as far as the IDU thing I have had one also from another dr and it gave me problems and came out within 4 months it just depends on the person that isnt his falt.....I owe my life to this man

Sometimes I have to wait for only 5 minutes and other times I have to wait 2 hours before I get in. I love Dr. Bishop he is caring, understanding, listens and explains. All the nurses are very kind and helpful.I reccomend Dr. Bishop becuase he makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to get to know you.
