Dr. Donald Attridge Bright, MD

Diagnosed a problem with migraines and prescribed a drug therapy that has greatly enhanced my quality of life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bright for 10 years and can't imagine finding a better neurologist for my needs.

Doctor answered all my questions and put my mind at ease re future stroke. Adjusted medications and discussed dosages.Gave advice on exercise program/ hazards.Very knowledgible..

I was treated carefully and my symptoms were controlled after some adjustment of medication. I fbelieve Dr. Bright did well by me.

I think Dr. Bright is a wonderful doctor. However, I have been waiting days for a refill on my migraine medication, the pharmacy has sent two faxes, my husband and myself have left messages (we can't seem to reach a human), and I was in agony. My migraine has finally passed, and I am now trying to make an appointment, still with no success in reaching an actual person, or having my messages returned. Love the doctor, beyond disappointed in the staff.

Took my 87 year old mom to see Dr. Bright. He was terrific. Great "bedside manner" with her and very thorough.

After spending 10 years with increasingly dibilitating migraines (1 year on disability), Dr. Bright literally saved my life!! My prior Neurologist had told me he'd run out of pharmaceuticals and couldn't treat me without them! I had pretty much given up hope of ever being pain-free again, and suicide was becoming more attractive every day, just to stop being in pain. My first visit with Dr. Bright I didn't present with any symptoms, but he was kind, attentive, and really listened to what I said. He took me off all the pharmaceuticals and put me on Vit B2 in therapeutic doses. After about a month I realized I wasn't experiencing 2-4 migraines a week! Now I rarely, if ever, get them. I've told every person I've met over the years about Dr. Bright and how genuinely kind and caring he was. We are all responsible for our own bodies, our own health care. It's up to us to research everything we can for ourselves and provide that info to our physicians as well. It's just foolish to lay your… life at the feet of any physician and expect miracles (although they do happen). I wanted an MRI to eliminate the possibility of a tumor, my prior Neurologist didn't want to do an MRI because, according to him, only 1% of people have brain tumors...well, it's my body, my life, and I demanded the MRI. I resented him trying to brush me off when I could have been that 1%. If your doctor isn't a perfect fit, or you don't feel cared about, find someone else.
