Dr. Brown is a fantastic pediatrician! As a first-time mom, I truly appreciate how easy it is to schedule appointments, get quick responses to questions, and receive thoughtful, reassuring care. He is knowledgeable, kind, and always takes the time to listen and address concerns. His team is also wonderful—efficient, friendly, and supportive. I highly recommend Dr. Brown to any parent looking for a great pediatrician!

Dr. Donald Brown provided amazing care for our newborn daughter during our time living in Chicago. He went out of his way to make sure to check in on her multiple times after she came home from the hospital to make sure she was gaining weight appropriately. He was very attentive and invested in her overall well-being and made us feel at ease with every visit. We are so grateful for his wonderful care and cannot recommend him enough! Thank you Dr. Brown!

I also looked at good reviews and took my baby to doctor Brown. I am not going to provide too many details, it will be enough to say that he misdiagnosed my toddler and missed both croup and ear infection. My baby was miserable for almost a week due to doctor’s Brown diagnosis. Thank god for Northwestern urgent care that gave us a second opinion and took care of her. I am not very happy with the staff in this practice either. They don’t turn the phone on until about 9:15 and put you on very long holds as soon as you get through. We switched to a different doctor and practice.

Love love loved Dr. Brown! Such a smart and personable doctor. Makes children feel at ease and parents feel knowledgeable and aware of their kids’ health, taking the time to explain everything. So highly recommended!

We have been patients of Dr Brown's for 8 years. He is always cheerful when he sees us, and seems to remember the names of all my children, even if he's only scheduled to see one of them. Muy kids love to see him, and I feel very comfortable at the office. His support staff and other doctors are great also.

He would always joke around with the kids and get them to relax. The children liked him very much are more importantly they trusted him. He obviously keeps abreast of the latest pediatric research.

First impression: he loves what he does, he loves kids, he's thorough, he's kind, he's professional and approachable. No God complex here.

i was referred to him by another patient because of the after hours follow up/ bedside manner. I saw him for my first son that is now almost 3 and look forward to my visits. When i had my other son he ended up in the NICU at Prentice with breathing problems due to being a preemie. Much to my surprise almost everyday I went to see my baby boy, there was a note there somewhere either on the whiteboard or in his lil crib reassuring me that baby was doing great and getting stronger. I didn't know that the dr. visit wasn't standard practice until one of the NICU nurses told me that she has never seen anything like it, she rarely sees pediatricians check in on patients let alone almost every day! This nurse also said that she had the same ped. for all of her children and if she were to have another one she would switch to Dr. Brown! He is the best at what he does. I'm always comfortable asking questions, he gives great advice, he is friendly with my children and i never feel rushed at… the office. I moved to the suburbs over 2 yrs. ago and I wouldn't dream of switching doctors!

Dr. Brown has an excellent bedside manner. My only complaint is that it isn't easy to get an appointment b/c everyone loves going to him and he's always booked.
