Dr. Donald Allen Collins, DO

There is something very wrong going on here. Dr. Collins is a unique combination of incompetence and an ego maniac. He cancels tests and procedures ordered by specialists. Reschedules tests to his "preferred" facilites which is likely due to financial incentives. Borderline criminal behavior and I question the legitimacy of his medical license. I will be researching how to approach investigating this practice startign with the state medical board.

Incredibly rude and condescending office staff. Stay away from this Doctor and staff. The treat you worse than a farm animal

Is not clear regarding a diagnosis or is often incorrect or mistaken. Treats you as a person he has to see to make a living instead of giving you a sense he cares about your well-being as a patient who depends upon him.

Intelligent conversation is to be had with this one, and he helps with advice. Nice office staff. Alas, my insurance has a severe case of administrative cranial anal impaction. Will recommend him, office, staff, and hesitate about Optimum.

When first went to Dr. Collins thought he was great, but then my husband has been a heart patient for 18 years till going to Dr. Collins he said my husband didn't need to go to a Cardiologist any more. His feet started swelling asked to be sent to a Cardiologist he refused said it was just his age. My husband had a Heart attack 19 years ago and has 3 stint so needed to see a Cardiologist not just a D O. We have changed Dr's so my husband can be looked after properly. Travel at your own risk.!!

He's an arrogant uncaring thinks he's right know it all. He doesn't listen to his patients and is under the mindset of nothing is wrong with you even in the face of seeing test results and other doctors notations stating you have a medical issue. Don't go to the guy unless you're in the mood to hear constantly there is nothing wrong with you even when you are in his office experiencing life threatening complications and he's witnessing it. He says to you directly I don't know how many times I have to tell you there's nothing wrong with you. Then he states call your insurance if you don't like it. He's all about money not patient care

Dr. Don Collins has a good personality and an ability to discuss things with his patients. He sometimes has made derogoratly remarks about me asking questions of him. His repl could be " Heck he's the CEO he can look up the best Specialist to follow-up on the question.
