Dr. Donald Raymond Czerniach, MD

I was referred to Dr Coenrich by a colleague, I had a hernia in my left lumbar region. He explained that this is in an unusual location and that he would need to do surgery, if I agreed. Dr Czerniach explained that he would be doing minimally invasive robotic surgery; with da Vinci Si™ Robotic Surgical System. Dr Czerniach explained everything about the surgery to me with such knowledge, kindness and answered my questions and made me feel at ease. Surgery day, he, and the Care Team at MRMC made me feel cared for and safe. When talking to me, I was told, "we got you", "this is what we do". I knew that I was going to be ok and well cared for. The other important thing for me, was that this surgery would be performed in Milford with the expertise of Dr. Czerniach and our medical center; and there was no need to travel to have this operation done. He went above and beyond for me and will go the extra mile for each and every patient. Not only is Dr Czerniach a great surgeon, but he is… also a wonderful human.

Dr. Czerniach saved my life with emergency surgery and pushed for a closer look at the biopsy results. I have no higher regard.

I was admitted at UMass under the care of Dr Czerniach. I am very satisfied with the excellent care I received. Dr Czerniach explained everything to me with such kindness and answered all my questions. He is indeed a very good doctor. I am home now. Thank you Dr Czerniach.

For the past 3 years I have been seeing Dr.Czerniach and every visit is great. He has a lot of compassion for his patients and has gone above and beyond for myself. The gratitude I have for him is over flowing. He will always hold a special place n my heart!

Recommended by another prominent physician from UMass, this surgeon is who you pick to operate on YOUR MOTHER! From the 1st visit, the surgery was explained to my husband and me. There was no "Immediate surgery." Other testing first to give him more information. Cautious, clear and a great bedside manner to boot. Always around to answer questions. Even spoke to him the night before surgery! Surgery went just as planned. No better surgeon around!

It would be difficult for me to say enough about this doctor. He explained my procedure, he told me what to do, he operated, I followed instructions, and everything went just the way he said it would. I could not be happier with this doctor and recommend him highly.
