Poked me in the belly and asked me if it hurt. Was making fun of me. Did a colonoscopy and never gave me the results. Switched to lady doctor after that.

I am confused about the older reviews as I have been seeing Dr. Dickman and would never go to anyone else. He listens to my concerns and makes sure I am well taken care of.

Dr. Dickman sees my mother. Not only did he have no clue why he was seeing her at each appointment, he blew off my concerns about her health, brushed off important labs that were abnormal during a hospitalization, and just told her to come back in a month. Plus, when asked for help with a huge issue with the medical supply company regarding her C-PAP machine, he lectured us on it being illegal and refused, and I -a lay-person- had to explain to him how to send his colleague's notes and prescription to the medical supply company. Dr. Dickman then told my mother the C-PAP probably wouldn't help her severe sleep apnea anyway. He then got up and left without saying goodbye, letting my mother know when to come back for her next appointment or if he had refilled the medication she needed. Terrible communication, bedside manner, understanding of how to help his patients, or medicine in general.

If he does not like you he will have his nurses say ugly, sarcastic things to you, have them cancel your appointments and then say you did it, put in your chart the person, date and time they talked to you when, in fact, they did not return your call at all, prescribe a medication and tell you to talk to a pharmacist about it if you have questions, as well as other issues. Not once has wellness/mammograms ever been brought up by this office, just about losing weight and I am not even obese!! This has happened on and off for some time and I finally realized this doctor was behind it all, allowing all this to happen. Why he just didn't say he wanted me to go elsewhere for medical care is beyond me..it would have made life much easier. At first I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but not anymore!
