Dr. Donald Goeller, MD

After many doctors, I discovered Dr. Donald P. Goeller and am very happy with his services. He has a professional manner, a clear and pleasant speech, a very knowledgeable background in medicine. Dr. Goeller offers treatment options and recommendations for my various healthcare issues that make sense and serve my needs. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good family doctor.

Found him to be very thorough yet respectful of my time. I would definitely go back. He had a great bedside manner that put me at ease. Highly recommend!

Rushed patient through list of questions; refused consult to physical therapist. Would not recommend.

Very young doctor, thinks he knows quite a bit but has quite a bit to learn. Cocky, speaks cocky and acts cocky. Told me my pain was likely just fibromyalgia but he would run the tests I wanted. After my results came back positive for RA, etc he sent me to a specialist. Haven't seen him since.

This was my first visit with Dr. Goeller. I am looking for a new doctor b/c my last one retired. Ugh. Choosing a new doc is really hard! And, this is one professional from whom I expect a lot. I figured I'd go see him for a quick checkup and decide if I would stay or keep looking. I selected Dr. Goeller (his staff says he pronounces it "Geller") because (a) he is affiliated with Boone Hospital, (b) he is young enough to be up-to-date but (c) experienced enough to have my full confidence, and (d) he is Board Certified. This was only my first visit but he was friendly, well-informed, professional, thorough, but also allowed time to listen to my comments, concerns, and questions and he provided thoughtful answers for me. I don't expect to see him too often but I feel more comfortable knowing him and knowing he's there. Looks like I chose well!

I will not go back to this doctor. At one point, he needed a moment to mull over what he was going to do for my symptoms and left for 10 minutes (i.e., to Google a solution?). My prescription was not called in to the pharmacy 8 hours later, so I called the office and was patched through to the doctor on-call who was in his car and couldn't do anything for me. The next day the prescription was at the pharmacy, but under another first name and without my birthdate attached to it--thank goodness the pharmacist was aware of the situation and authorized my pick-up despite the fact that the prescription was not attached to me. No call to apologize. Nothing. They also show the 700 Club in the waiting room. Nice.

Great enviroment! The staff and doctor himself were all very caring and prompt. I would suggest him to anyone looking for a primary physician in the Boone County area!

He is very friendly and open minded and refilled my prescription when my other doc would not last minute. I would have lost my job and been unable to go to work today without him and I cannot thank him enough. It is nice to see a doctor that actually cares about his patients.

Great doc..would recommend him to everyone. Staff is also very fast and easy to deal with. I got an appointment quickly.
